The HCDS workshop explores novel research ideas around heterogeneous, composable, and disaggregated systems and their integration with operating systems and software runtimes. Topics include architectures, system software, evaluation, and applications for CXL-based and other composable/disaggregated infrastructures.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
• CXL and other interconnects for composable/disaggregated systems
• Memory pooling and memory disaggregation
• Hardware prototypes and evaluation of HCDS platforms
• OS, runtimes, and programming models for HCDS
• Resource management, scheduling, and orchestration for HCDS
• AI / LLM / data-intensive workloads on disaggregated and composable systems
