The Technical Committee on Computer Architecture (TCCA) is involved with research and development in the integrated hardware and software design of general- and special-purpose processors and parallel computers. The TC annually sponsors/cosponsors the International Symposium on High Performance Computer Architecture and the International Symposium on Computer Architecture, along with several other conferences. With the ACM SIGARCH, it jointly administers the Eckert-Mauchly Award for contributions to computer architecture and the ISCA Most Influential Paper Award. TCCA also sponsors the Young Computer Architect award. It also helps organize special issues of society periodicals and publishes a newsletter periodically, containing meeting reports, abstracts of technical reports, calls for papers, and other announcements. Finally, TCCA provides student travel grants and conference child day care support.
