We are pleased to inform you that there will be a special episode of “Happy Hour with Architects” featuring a number of interesting and impactful works from the architecture community published in the last five years. The “Spotlight 2021” episode will invite the authors of these amazing works for an informal discussion on the origin and impact of their research.
Please feel free to nominate any architecture work from 2017-2021 (broadly construed as systems-architecture papers published in architecture conferences, e.g., ISCA, MICRO, ASPLOS, HPCA, etc. or hardware-architecture focused papers in other conferences). Self-nominations are welcome!
Nominations require no effort! Explain the insight/impact of the work such that it fits in two tweets! It is a great opportunity for grad students to get more visibility in the community! The spotlight would be an amazing venue featuring the brightest and best of our community!
Selection Committee:
A team of renowned architects from academia and industry will make the selection based on the nomination statements (key insight, impact). The advisory committee of the Architecture Spotlight consists of Cliff Young (Google), Onur Mutlu (ETH), Parthasarathy Ranganathan (Google), and Steve Swanson (UCSD).
